Join us as Jan Banning (Artist/Photographer) presents his lecture titled “The Verdict. The Christina Boyer Case” on Monday, 28 June 2021 at 7.30 -9 PM WIB.
Jan Banning, a Dutch Artist/Photographer, has been known for his prominent projects closely related to Indonesian history, such as “Comfort Women” and “Traces of War: Survivors of the Burma and Sumatra Railways”. In this lecture, Jan will talk about his experience when standing up for Christina Boyer who has been imprisoned for her daughter’s death in the American state of Georgia.
The session will be conducted in English and Indonesian (interpreter available).
